LSU Theatre
Vastine and Marina, the heads of LSU Theatre marketing, also and origianlly came to me earlier this year to edit an LSU Theatre trailer for Red Velvet—a true story play following Ira Aldridge, a Black theatre performer in the 1830s. Bringing this production to life through editing was an incredibly rewarding experience. The process was highly collaborative, allowing me to work closely with the LSU Theatre team to capture the essence and emotion of the story.
They seemed to be pleased with the result, as they requested my services a second time for a new play in March 2025, Roleplay.

Vastine and Marina seemed to be pleased with how our first collaboration for the Red Velvet trailer turned out (listed below). So much so, that I was requested to edit and film the trailer for Roleplay — a story depicting several college students who navigate the university system, sexual assault, party culture, and social pressures — which was set to release of March of this year. My goal for the project was to create an air of professionalism that, in my opinion, the previous trailers (including my previous one) lacked, simply because LSU Theatre did not have dedicated video editors.
Of course, I agreed to hop on board, and within 24 hours, the full trailer for Roleplay was complete.
